Check which of six central Indian government schemes you may qualify for: PM-KISAN, Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY, PM Awas Yojana - Urban, the old age pension (IGNOAPS), Sukanya Samriddhi and Atal Pension Yojana. Answer up to 13 questions once; each scheme comes back as Eligible, Not eligible or Not determined, with every criterion marked and a link to the official portal.
PM-KISAN: the family holds cultivable land in the land records, and no member paid income tax, is a government employee above Group D or a constitutional post holder, draws a pension of Rs 10,000 a month or more, or is a practising doctor, engineer, lawyer, chartered accountant or architect. There is no land-size cap. PM-JAY: the household is in the SECC 2011 deprivation or occupational lists, or enrolled under RSBY. PMAY-Urban: household income up to Rs 6 lakh a year and no pucca house anywhere in India. Old age pension (IGNOAPS): age 60 or more and a Below Poverty Line household. Sukanya Samriddhi: a girl who has not yet turned 10 on the day the account is opened, with the account opened by a parent or legal guardian. Atal Pension Yojana: age 18 to 40, a savings bank or post office account, and not an income tax payer.
Each criterion is Met, Not met or Check manually. One Not met makes the scheme Not eligible, even if other questions were left blank, because that answer already rules it out. With nothing Not met but at least one blank, the scheme is Not determined. Only when every criterion is met does it say Eligible. Example: age 65 and a BPL card, with everything else blank, gives Eligible for the old age pension, Not eligible for Atal Pension Yojana (over 40), and Not determined for PM-KISAN and PM-JAY.
The rules are simplified, and two known gaps matter. Since October 2024, PM-JAY also covers every citizen aged 70 or above regardless of income (the Ayushman Vay Vandana card), which the rule here does not model, so a person over 70 can see Not eligible and still qualify. PMAY-Urban 2.0 also gives its interest subsidy to Middle Income Group households earning Rs 6 lakh to Rs 9 lakh a year, while the rule here stops at Rs 6 lakh; the subsidy is 4% on the first Rs 8 lakh of a loan of up to Rs 25 lakh, at most Rs 1.80 lakh. Many states add their own pension top-ups and criteria. Gaps like these appear as a note beside a Not eligible or Not determined result; confirm on the official portal before you rely on it.
Sukanya Samriddhi: a mother opening an account for her 9-year-old daughter gets Eligible. Paragraph 3 of the Sukanya Samriddhi Account Scheme, 2019 (G.S.R. 914(E)) allows an account only for a girl who has not attained the age of ten on the date it is opened, so after her 10th birthday it can no longer be opened. The age question takes whole years and still marks an answer of 10 as met, so if she is already 10, read that result as Not eligible. Atal Pension Yojana: age 40 with a savings account and no income tax paid gives Eligible; age 41 gives Not eligible. Since 1 October 2022, anyone who is or has been an income tax payer cannot join (Ministry of Finance notification of 10 August 2022), so Yes to the income tax question gives Not eligible at any age. People who joined before that date keep their accounts.
No. It checks six central schemes. State schemes and other central schemes are not covered yet, and a scheme that is not listed is never reported as "not eligible".
Signed in, they are saved to your account and only you can see them; the "Delete saved answers" button removes them. Not signed in, they are kept in your session, linked to a cookie on this browser rather than a name or account, and the same button clears them. The usage record holds counts only: how many questions were answered and how many schemes came out in each status, never the answers.
No. It is a screening check against simplified rules taken from each scheme's guidelines, last reviewed in October 2026. The department or bank that runs the scheme decides; use the official link on each result to apply.
At least one question it needs was left blank and no other answer ruled it out. The result lists which criterion to check: answer that question, or confirm it on the official site.
Each result lists them. For the six schemes checked here: PM-KISAN: Land ownership records (khatauni/land records), Aadhaar, Bank account passbook. PM-JAY: Aadhaar, Ration card or SECC family ID. PMAY-Urban: Aadhaar, Income proof, Affidavit of not owning a pucca house. IGNOAPS: Age proof, BPL certificate or ration card, Aadhaar, Bank account passbook. Sukanya Samriddhi: Girl's birth certificate, Guardian's identity/address proof, Aadhaar. Atal Pension Yojana: Aadhaar, Bank account/passbook, Mobile number linked to the bank account. This is a starting list; the office or bank handling your application has the final say, so confirm on the scheme's official portal.
Yes. Answer every question as that person: put their age in Your age (in years) and answer the household questions for their household. For example, a father aged 72 in a BPL household gets Eligible for the old age pension (IGNOAPS) and Not eligible for Atal Pension Yojana, which stops at 40; at 70 or above he can also get Ayushman Bharat cover whatever the PM-JAY result says. For Sukanya Samriddhi, Your relationship to the child must be Parent or Legal guardian; a grandparent or other relative who picks Other gets Not eligible. Signed in, your account keeps one set of answers, so saving a parent's replaces your own: answer again for yourself afterwards, or press Delete saved answers.
Only for two of the six schemes. The question Has anyone in your family paid income tax in the last year? feeds PM-KISAN and Atal Pension Yojana. For PM-KISAN, the family is a husband, wife and their minor children (PM-KISAN Operational Guidelines), so tax paid by any of them excludes the whole family, while tax paid by an adult son or daughter does not count against the parents: answer for those people only. For Atal Pension Yojana only your own record counts: since 1 October 2022, a person who is or has been an income tax payer cannot join. If the tax payer is your spouse or a parent and not you, read the Atal Pension Yojana Not eligible as Check manually and confirm with your bank. Tax paid in the family does not by itself rule out PM-JAY, PMAY-Urban (which tests household income instead), the old age pension or Sukanya Samriddhi.
This tool cannot look it up. It only asks whether your household is listed under SECC 2011 or enrolled under RSBY, and a blank answer makes PM-JAY Not determined. To check, search for your family on the official beneficiary portal linked from pmjay.gov.in with your ration card number or Aadhaar, call the National Health Authority helpline 14555, or ask at the Ayushman Mitra desk of an empanelled hospital. If your family is found, answer Yes and save again. Anyone aged 70 or above can get the Ayushman Vay Vandana card whatever the list says, and several states cover more families under their own schemes run alongside PM-JAY, so check your state's list too.
